How can the SiteSens monitor be powered?
The SiteSens offers flexible power options to suit a wide range of applications. It can be powered using 110V mains power, 240V mains power, rechargeable batteries, or a solar power system, making it suitable for both short term and long term monitoring projects.
Does the SiteSens monitor record audio?
Yes. When a pre-defined noise trigger level is exceeded, the noise part of the monitor can automatically capture a short audio recording of the event. The recording is uploaded to Sonitus Cloud, where it is automatically categorised to help identify the likely source of the noise. This feature is included as standard on all hire units and is available as an optional add-on for purchased monitors.
How can the SiteSens be mounted?
SiteSens is designed for versatile installation and can be mounted in several ways, including: • Hoarding-mounted • Pole-mounted • Tripod-mounted • Wall-mounted This flexibility allows the monitor to be deployed quickly and securely across construction, demolition, infrastructure, and environmental monitoring projects.
Can I view the monitoring data remotely?
Yes. The monitor connects to Sonitus Cloud, allowing users to access live and historical monitoring data remotely from any internet connected device. Users can view dust/ Noise levels, receive alerts, generate reports, and manage multiple monitoring locations through a secure online dashboard.
Can the SiteSens send alerts when noise limits are exceeded?
Yes. The monitor can be configured to send instant notifications via email or SMS when pre-set noise thresholds are exceeded. This enables site teams to respond quickly to potential issues, helping to maintain compliance and minimise disruption to nearby residents and stakeholders.
