Dust Monitor Guide

The Dust Sentry is a dust measurement device which is intended for use in situations where you need reliable dust measurements with the minimum amount of effort and compensation for humid and foggy conditions where inheritantly dust monitors with out heated inlets will measure water as dust and skew your results negatively.

Weight: 13.8 kg

Dimensions: 60 x 40 x 17 cm

Local Measurement Data

Data saves internally to the monitor and once a cloud connection is established, the data is sent and processed in our cloud system to give you real-time access and alerts via SMS and Email depending on the user preferences.

The unit can be setup to measure TSP, PM10, 2.5 or 1 sized particles. The unit can log in 1 minute intervals up to 1 hour. This unit is mCERTS certified as per the requirements of the environment agency for indicative monitoring, to be used in construction and demolition environments.

Enable low power mode and limit the WiFi hotspot period from always to a time you wish to set to save power. Simply reset the device to reissue a WiFi hotspot period.

110 or 240 volt 16 amp power through the male socket pictured on the right.

Peak draw 30 watts with an average power draw of 25 watts.

We supply two types of power cables for connection to your power network.

  2. 110 volt 16 amp with special connector to the sentry (blue cable)

Fixed Wire Input

The Dust Sentry has a AC converter installed within the outer case of the monitor. The AC converter will convert 110 volt to 240 volt AC power down to 12 volt power out monitor will need to operate. The cable running into the power supply is a fixed, sealed unit and MUST NOT be modified under any circumstances, otherwise it’s IP rating and electrical safety certificate is VOID.

Should you need to connect a fixed wired installation to the unit, remove the black connector (please keep the removed connector and store within the unit cabinet to necessitate the unit back to original) and install the joining connector with sealed connections to ensure no water ingress between the break in the cable.
