CadnaA: System Requirements

CadnaA software can be installed on any Windows PC with x86 or x64 architecture.

This normally means any PC with an Intel or AMD processor running Windows 10 or higher will be compatible.

Systems which are unsupported are ARM-based processors and Apple operating systems.

Minimum System Requirements

CadnaA can be installed on any system which fulfils the following requirements:

• Multi-core processor with x86-64 architecture from Intel (Core i series, 6th generation, „Skylake“ architecture or newer) or from AMD (Ryzen series, starting from the 1st generation, „Zen“ architecture or newer) with at least 4 cores, instruction set extensions SSE 4.2 and AVX as well as 64-bit extensions (Intel 64 or AMD64).
• 8 GB RAM
• OpenGL 3.3 graphics card with a minimum of 1 GB real graphic memory to use the hardware accelerated 3D-view. Using processor graphics or graphics card with no dedicated graphics memory (“shared memory”) may result in display errors. When using CadnaA in Batch-Mode, this requirement does not apply.
• Windows 64-bit operating system
  • Microsoft Windows 10 (Version 22H2)
  • Microsoft Windows 11 (Version 23H2 or newer).

ARM-based processors (e.g. M1/2/3/4 chips from Apple or Snapdragon-SoC) are not supported.
