The NOR-1292 Geophone is a seismic pickup for the measurement and analysis of ground borne vibration levels. Its high sensitivity and rugged construction make it ideal for measurements in difficult conditions whilst its high dynamic velocity range makes it ideal for measurement of both background and specific vibration events. It will interface directly with the NOR-133 and NOR-136 Vibration Meters and give a direct measurement over the frequency range 1 to 500 Hz in all three axes. Alternatively it may be connected to Norsonic or similar sound level meters having a standard Lemo 1B connector and in this configuration it will display the Z (vertical) component. The 5 metre cable fitted to the Geophone may be extended using standard NOR-1408 cables. If you are not sure if this transducer is suitable for your application please contact our sales office for advice.
